Laurie Maun

Laurie Maun is an Artist & Designer based in Camberwell, South East London. She explores and responds to the relationship between texture, colour and shape mostly based on abstract form but also sometimes observational, figurative matter.

After studying at Manchester Art School, Laurie moved to London to train in couture embroidery and went on to be featured by by the Barbican Museum in 'The Barbican Maker". At this point Laurie rediscovered her love for painting.

Her work is strongly focused on how colours meet and interact with one another.
