Carhartt WIP is classic brand with a rich history in well crafted and hard wearing garments made to stand the test of time. Carhartt was born in 1889 by New Yorker Hamilton Carhartt. The original gear was designed for railroad engineers and so the product had to withstand the harsh conditions that the engineers were working under. From the materials to the construction each garment served a purpose. The years that followed saw Carhartts popularity grow into something quite different with the brands famous 'C' logo becoming the favoured emblem of rappers and other sub cultures in the 90s.
